Thank you for visiting! I update this page
every six weeks period so parents can see the major topics we are studying.
Students and parents can view all assignment due dates and test dates by selecting their subject on the left navigation
window. This way, there should never be a question about when an assignment is due or a test approaching. These
assignments are also written on the board in class.
I believe parent and teacher communication is imperative to your child's success! If you have any questions
or concerns regarding your child's progress, please do not hesitate to contact me! You can click "Contact Me" on
the left navigation window to send me an email, and email is the best way to contact me. I appreciate your continuous
support and look forward to a very successful year! Together, we can make this a great semester of learning for your
child.

Anatomy and Physiology- 5th Six Weeks
Last six weeks we covered the units of muscles, the nervous system, the sense organs, and blood! Now we will be
focusing on the cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive units this six weeks! We also will be delving into dissections
the second part of this six weeks so students will get hands on experience seeing the anatomical portions that we are covering!
Since we are getting into dissections now, please make sure your child brought home a safety contract to you as it requires
a signature from you. A reminder that all assignments are announced on the anatomy and physiology page.

Biology II- 5th Six Weeks
I have greatly enjoyed teaching this course since taking it over in January (arriving from another school
district). Last six weeks we covered protein synthesis, genetic technology, and evolution. This six weeks we will
be covering classification, plants, and starting into body systems! Recall there is a calendar for this course that
announces every assignment date- you can download this off the Biology II page.
We have experienced frequent absences and tardies in 1st period so please encourage
your child to be present and on time! Your child will need to contact me in person or via email to arrange make
up times when he/she is absent and to obtain the notes. Because he/she has a calendar, he/she should already be
aware of exactly what is missed. Your child can also check the online gradebook. Make-ups must be pre-arranged
but are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Fridays.
